6th Grade Advanced Math Program

The 6th Grade Advanced Math Program is designed for students that have shown an ability to work well above grade-level in mathematics. Selected students will follow a curriculum equivalent to the second half of 6th grade mathematics and 7th grade mathematics.

6th Grade Advanced Math Rubric
Students must earn at least 7 points based upon the criteria below.
NOTE: Students must maintain an A or B average at the end of the year to continue into 7th grade Advanced Math. Students who were not enrolled in 5th Grade Advanced Math will also take the 6th Grade LinkIt! Benchmark C in order to evaluate their understanding of the 6th grade mathematics standards that were taught in 5th Grade Advanced Math. Students will receive a summer assignment based on any deficiencies noted on the 6th Grade LinkIt! Benchmark C.
